Perfectly Imperfect!

Sudha was just sixteen when she learned from her doctors that her right leg needs to be amputated following a Road traffic accident in Tamil Nadu. To be at the receiving end of such a news,at an age when dreams and ambitions were ready to take off would literally shatter anyone.Sudha was no different. But there was no other option.

Disabled at the age of 16,life would have gone down the usual path except that Sudha was not ready to give up. She started walking with her prosthetic foot. But the story didn't end there! Sudha went on to become a graceful dancer and a talented actress. She is none other than the famous Sudha Chandran.

We all strive to be perfect in our lives. So what if some imperfections creep in? What if people start seeing you for your disabilities rather than your abilities?

Life is never fair, and perhaps it is a good thing for most of us that it is not.
-Oscar Wilde

All of us are disabled in one way or the other. It need not be always physical. Most of us are limited in life by one or the other incapacitations. But how you respond to the adversities determines who you are or who you would become. Life is unfair to a great extent but blaming it for the same wouldn't make a difference. You need to put in the necessary efforts and try to outlive it!

Daniel Radcliffe aka Harry Potter describes how life at school was quite difficult for him as he was too clumsy according to his teachers and friends. It came as a surprise to many when he later announced that he has dyspraxia, a medical condition where the affected individual's ability to carry out motor tasks become tedious. He recollects how he used to have a tough time tying his shoelaces or writing legibly. Interestingly, his clumsiness made him apt for the role of Potter which catapulted him to international stardom!

I was having a hard time at school, in terms of being crap at everything, with no discernible talent.
- Dan Radcliffe

It is not always humanly possible to outwit your disabilities. But you can always keep trying to find ways to get around them.

So.are you battling with that unfairness in your day-to-day life? Don't worry, good things are just hovering around that corner!

After all, 'The Leaning Tower of Pisa' became famous for its lopsided structure, isn't it ?!
